TAGIE AWARDS--PRESS RELEASE

ANNOUNCEMENT and PRESS RELEASE:

WILLIAM GEORGES  who is 11 years old, a 6th grader was just nominated as one of the five nominees for the 2013 TAGIE Young Inventor of the Year category, specifically naming his toy Pezo Pals- as a hot innovative product (PezoPals.com). He recently published a book featured at PezoPals.com to inspire other kid inventors to start businesses on their big ideas that is titled: 12 SMART TIPS FOR STARTING A BUSINESS AS A KIDVENTOR AND KIDPRENEUR.

On the evening of November 22nd at the Toy and Game Inventors of the Year Awards, which is likened to the Academy Awards for the Toy Industry, the TAGIE Awards will be held at the historic Navy Pier Grand Ballroom, and the winner will be announced. The event is sponsored by Hasbro (Presenting Sponsor), Hassenfeld Family Initiatives, Global Toy News, Mayfair Games, Joyce Johnson Designs, Oxford Games, The Playmakers, Toy Industry Association and Chicago Toy and Game Group.

People can vote for their nominees at  www.tagieawards.com and William Georges hopes people will vote for him for his creation of Pezo Pals- a Smart-Tech Teddy Bear for the 21st century that was awarded  2012 & 2013 Top Toy of the Year and 2013 Kids Product of the Year (in the educational category) by Creative Child Magazine. William personally appeared among the toy company giants at the 2013 Toy Fair in New York to introduce his smart-tech teddy bear to the market. William calls his bear the biggest thing to happen to the teddy bear! These award-winning toys bring families together and grow with children! He recently published a book featured at PezoPals.com to inspire other kid inventors to start businesses on their big ideas that is titled: 12 SMART TIPS FOR STARTING A BUSINESS AS A KIDVENTOR AND KIDPRENEUR. William has been featured on HLN’s Making It In America,  Scholastic News Magazine’s Kid’s Spotlight. He has recently partnered with the  AsSeenOnTV.com to offer his toy to the public as well. He loves creating and inventing toys all while he runs his toy business. He wants to ultimately land a spot on ABC's Shark Tank Show to secure a business partner, but this 11 year old believes there is no limit to what kids can do at any early age when it comes to starting a business! William is currently casting for ABC's Shark Tank.
